"Meet The Artist Behind The Pins"

ALEX SANSO

Growing up in southern California, Alex Sanso paid many visits to Disneyland® Park from the time she was pushed around in a stroller. Throughout those countless visits, she never imagined that she could someday work for the company that helped create so
many great memories throughout her childhood and beyond; however, it would take a move across the country to do it. Alex joined the Walt Disney World® Resort as a Graphic Designer in 1996. Before her move to work with the world's most famous
mouse, Alex had been a partner in a design studio in San Francisco for four years. Her experience in merchandise has included designing her own line of T-shirts, creating seasonal souvenirs for a major toy manufacturer, and art directing prints and posters for a national publisher. Alex's work with Disney has brought her full circle, as she was part of the team assigned to create all the merchandise for Disney's California Adventurer ™ right next door to the Disneyland® Park. Alex is now part of Disney Tokyo.
