Not Really Pins But Cute
The following are four (4) Limited-Edition Mini Bean Bag Plush that are being released at the Resort. Each character has dressed up as their favorite friend. The first one (Mickey Mouse as Goofy) was actually released last week, and they are still available.
The others will be released as follows:
Tigger as Pooh (in stores  5/25)
Eeyore as Tigger ( in stores 6/1)
Pooh as Eeyore (in stores  6/8)
They will be available in the following locations: Emporium, Small World Toy Shop & World of Disney.
There are only 10,000 of each Mini Bean Bag Plush. Each one comes with a silver stud on the foot (which reads: Limited Edition 10,000). They are $10 each plus tax.

Star Wars Weekend At Disneyland

On May 17th, twenty-eight (28) of the twenty-nine (29) open edition Star Wars pins will be available to purchase.
Disney has learned that Dooku's Solar Sailor has been spotted in a galaxy far, far away and will not arrive at the Disneyland(R) Resort or Disney MGM(R) Studios, until early June.  Upon its arrival it will be available at Star Trader in Tomorrowland & at the Tomorrowland Pin Cart as well as Disney Showcase on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland(R) Park and at the Star Tours attraction at Disney MGM(R) Studios at the Walt Disney World(R) Resort in Florida.

AIDS Walk 2002

Annual Passholders who join the Disneyland® Resort VoluntEARS Walk Team and who contribute at least $50 to AIDS Walk Orange County will receive a limited-edition, 2002 Disneyland Resort VoluntEARS Walk Team exclusive cloisonné pin, WHILE SUPPLIES LAST*. 


For almost sixteen years, AIDS Walk Orange County has been raising awareness and much-needed funds for the fight against HIV and AIDS. Since 1986, this 10-kilometer pledge walk has raised nearly $7 million for charitable agencies which provide food, housing, medical services, transportation, home care, legal services, HIV testing, mental health counseling, support groups, as well as prevention, education and scientific research programs.

For the last four years, the Disneyland Resort has been a strong supporter of AIDS Walk Orange County. As an Annual Passholder, you have the unique opportunity to join the Disneyland Resort VoluntEARS Walk Team in this worthwhile endeavor, and join us in giving back to the community!

This spring, the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts will feature 29 exclusive Star Wars pins celebrating all five films, including the upcoming Attack of the Clones.
The collectible pins feature the likenesses of: Anakin Skywalker, Boba Fett, C-3PO, Chewbacca, a clone trooper, Count Dooku, Count Dooku's solar sailor, Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Darth Vader's TIE fighter, the Death Star, Han Solo, Jango Fett, a Jedi starfighter, Luke Skywalker, Millennium Falcon, a Naboo N-1 starfighter, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padme Amidala, Princess Leia, R2-D2, the Slave I, a stormtrooper, two super battle droids, a TIE fighter, an X-wing, Yoda, Zam Wesell and Zam Wesell's speeder.
The full set of pins will be released around May 25, 2002 at Star Trader (at the exit of the Star Tours attraction ) in Tomorrowland at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. For guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, the pins can be found at the Star Tours attraction at the Disney/MGM Studios.
Beginning May 28th, Guests will be able to purchase these 29 Star Wars pins through Disneyland DelivEARS at 800-362-4533.
