The Disney Gallery presents "Grim Grinning Ghosts" - Opening October 3, 2002
Be the first to see the new "Grim Grinning Ghosts" exhibit in The Disney Gallery, New Orleans Square. The spooktacular new exhibit will be on display for a limited time only and will feature a collaboration of art concepts and renderings from the Haunted Mansion attraction and "Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas." Adora Belle "Haunted Mansion" Pin Trader Doll Release & Signing
Saturday, December 7, Marie Osmond will be on hand to sign her Disneyland Park exclusive Adora Belle doll, which depicts the costume of the Haunted Mansion hostess. Adora Belle will surely look "spirited" in her long, dark green dress, complete with apron, jacket & bat hat. Personally sculpted by Marie, Adora Belle comes complete with a miniature pin trading lanyard and mini pins affixed to it, as well as two tradable pins. The Adora Belle "Haunted Mansion" doll will be offered for $135, plus tax and is limited to an edition size of 1000. Limit one per Guest. Set to make it's grand opening in October is "a bug's land" at Disney's California Adventure™ park. But before it does, the stars of the Disney/Pixar film, "A Bug's Life," have taken time out of their busy schedules to appear on our fifth installment of the popular dining-series pins.

Entitled "Flik & Princess Atta Await the Fair," this limited-edition cloisonné pin is back-stamped with "Annual Passholder; Dining Series # 5; 2002."

Available exclusively to Annual Passholders beginning Sunday September 8, 2002, while supplies last, one pin will be provided with each single food purchase of $20 (after tax and any applicable discount) at selected Disneyland® Resort food locations. "Where's Mickey" Pin Event

On September 8, 2002, as part of the One Hundred Mickeys exhibit, the Disneyland Resort
will host the "Where's Mickey?" pin event.
Beginning at Park opening "Where's Mickey" Trivia Challenge Sheets will be available at the following location:
Main Street Fire Station, Main Street, U.S.A.
A "Where's Mickey?" Clue Trivia Challenge Sheet will be distributed at the Main Street Fire Station at Park opening on the day of the event. With Trivia Challenge Sheet in hand, you'll be guided to locations throughout the Park where clues will be posted to help you find your final redemption location.
With the help of the other five(5) clues, complete the final questions and find the location,
where you will receive your commemorative event pin.
Additional Pin Treasures:
Guests who participate in the "Where's Mickey?" pin event will also have the opportunity to purchase the limited edition series of "Where's Mickey?" pins. Pins will be available at locations throughout Disneyland Park on the day of the event.
Trivia Challenge Sheet and pins are subject to availability and are limited in supply. No mail or phone orders will be taken for this event.
As always, paid admission is required to enter Disneyland Park

One Hundred Mickeys Waves Goodbye

The very popular One Hundred Mickeys exhibit at The Disney Gallery is closing September 8. This is the last of the One Hundred Mickeys Pins of Mickey Mouse designed by artist Eric Robison.

The foreground: I had been fascinated with Kabuki theater…thought that I would try it with Mickey.	MM 097 – Running Underwater ARTIST QUOTE: Originally called "Swimming With Shoes On," it was summertime and I had just returned from the beach.	MM 098 – Classic ARTIST QUOTE: Interpretation of a classic. I couldn’t resist making one button blue.	MM 099 – Copper ARTIST QUOTE: This was the last one that I painted of the 100. I was very happy that day! I loved this copper paper…I tried to paint an Egyptian style wall painting of Mickey…I didn’t like it so I simply did a face. I smeared raw powdered pigment over the relief of the paper.
