A Great Site To See
Over the past months we have all heard about Disney not hiring as many CM and in some cases CM not having jobs. Well today at MK I saw no less than 50 CM wearing that red ribbon that says "Earning My Ears". This is a well welcomed site to my eyes. If you see anyone with the red ribbon under the name tag, take a moment to stop and say Hi you might just make someone's day.

2002 Walt Disney World 9th Annual Marathon
It started like any special day at Walt Disney World. But today as the fireworks went off at 6am, among 13,500 people running the full marathon and another 5000 running the half marathon was Suzanne. This was her first full marathon ever. She did well and ran the 26.2 miles in 4 hour 49 minutes. Not a world record but her personal best, so from all of us congratulation Suzanne.
Suzanne is the the wife of Scott who is scottakamickey on most pinboards.

British Naval officer Dai Roberts took charge during the final mile Sunday to win the ninth annual Walt Disney World Marathon by eight seconds. Roberts, a 40-year-old currently stationed in Virginia Beach, Va., had a winning time of 2:32:38.
Ilda Santos, 26, of Sao Paulo, Brazil, defended her Disney Marathon women's title, taking control of the race in the final three miles to win in 2:48:38.
In the half marathon, Gabriel Rodriguez, 23, of Miami won the men's division by shattering Olympian Keith Brantly's event record by 39 seconds with a 1:09:07. Monica Hostetler, 25, of Kendallville, Ind., won the womens half marathon in 1:17:34.
In the men's marathon wheelchair division, Olympic 1500-meter champion Saul Mendoza of Wimberley, Texas, celebrated his 35th birthday by winning a sixth straight Walt Disney World Marathon championship. In the women's wheelchair division, Katherine Hunter of Alberta, Canada, won her fifth straight Disney title and sixth overall.
