Beside Pins Christmas Season Will Soon Be Here

The Traditional Christmas Tree

As soon as you enter the Disneyland Park, you will see a huge Christmas Tree, reminding you of this special season, a mixture of childhood memories and emotion, a majestic fir 25 m high, decorated with barley sugar, marzipan figures and thousands of multi-colored lights.

When you come to the Castle Place, walk through the spectacular forest of snow-covered fir trees and enjoy a few moments in a different world under their mysterious canopy.
The Disney characters will greet you here to celebrate the magic of Christmas together. They want to enjoy the party and decorate their own fir tree too, but … their way. Original, comical and sometimes extremely funny, their creations will surprise you.

on the Castle Stage

Father Christmas will be there to meet the very young and share their dreams and secrets. In his house, in the land of toys and elves, you can even glimpse his magic sleigh, ready to set off for that unique night … Christmas Eve.
And you can capture this magic moment with a photo to keep the memory fresh in their young minds.

A Christmas sing-song
with the Christmas Carollers

Just before the Tree Lighting Ceremony, while you wait for Father Christmas to arrive, lend an ear and enjoy the singing. The Christmas Carolers in their Victorian costumes, straight out of the pages of Dickens, interpret Christmas carols … a cappella!

Tree Lighting Ceremony

The switching-on ceremony marks nightfall, as Father Christmas, accompanied by a child, enters Main Street, U.S.A.
The lights go out. With a gesture, Father Christmas and the child throw a handful of gold dust at the tree, which immediately lights up. The light leaps from arch to arch, splashing across the Enchanted Forest in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle, which sparkles with a thousand lights…

A Family Before Their Time
I would like to tell you about Robert and his Family. They are from Belgium and are true pin collectors and traders. Months prior to DLP starting their pin trading on Oct.6, this family walked, sat, and just stood around DLP with pins all over their jackets and vests. Other guests looked twice at them wondering what these people were. As weeks passed and more people started talking about pin collecting and CM started wearing lanyards with pins, this family became less out of place. Now as DLP has pin locations, Supertraders and CM trading pins on a daily basis, Robert and his family just seem to fit in so well. It seems they were a Family before their time.

Supertraders in Paris

DLP has some new additions to pin trading. They have 2 Supertrading CM. One is located at Disney Village and one at Main Street. These Supertraders trade in a similar manner to how they trade here in the USA.
